On October 12, 2012 at approximately 8:30 am, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle and Larceny in Lewis Mobile Home Park in Chocowinity. Deputies responded to the scene and learned that the suspect had entered four vehicles and stole property from three of the vehicles.
The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation and discovered that the suspect had sold some of the stolen property to “Trade It” in Greenville, NC.  As a result of information and evidence gathered during the investigation, Investigator Brad Shackelford applied for and obtained warrants charging Antonia Lane DeRose, age 26, of Nichols Street in Vanceboro with four counts of Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle and three counts of Misdemeanor
Larceny.  DeRose was arrested on October 25th and taken before Magistrate David Curtis.  She was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $7500.00 secured bond.
