Danny Earl Lewis Charged with Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny

On November 20, 2011 at approximately 1:00 pm, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Breaking and Entering and Larceny that had already occurred at a residence on Highway 17 South in Chocowinity, NC.  Deputies responded and began an
investigation. A 50 inch TV was reported stolen.
On February 6, 2012, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office to report they recovered the TV and identified a suspect while investigating break-ins that occurred in Pitt County.  Beaufort County Investigators conducted interviews and collected evidence.
As a result, Investigator Jim Adams applied for and obtained a warrant charging Danny Earl Lewis, age 20, of Allen Road in Greenville, NC with Felony Breaking and Entering andFelony Larceny. Lewis is currently being held in Polk Correctional Institution in Butner, NC on unrelated charges.  He will be brought to Beaufort County to be served prior to his release.
