On July 22, 2012 at approximately 9:00 pm, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Breaking and Entering and Larceny from Wooded Acres Group Home located on Cherry Road in Washington. Deputies responded to the scene and learned that the suspect had entered a residence and removed US currency.
The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation and conducted interviews.  As a result of information and evidence gathered during the investigation, Investigator Scott Williams applied for and obtained a warrant charging William Steve Woolard Jr, age 32, of Dan Taylor Road in Washington with Felony Breaking and Entering and Larceny after Breaking and Entering.
On August 29, 2012, Woolard was arrested by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and taken before Magistrate Donald Sadler.  Woolard was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $3,000.00 secured bond.
