Avery Lamont Williams Jr Arrested for Outstanding Arrest Warrants

On April 12, 2012, members of both the Martin County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Avery Lamont Williams Jr., age 24, of 1177 Middle St. Jamesville. Williams was arrested in Washington for four outstanding arrest warrants originating in Martin County. Each warrant charged Williams with Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Drug paraphernalia and
Maintaining a Dwelling to Facilitate Drug Activity.  These charges stemmed from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit conducting controlled purchases of cocaine from Williams.
Williams was transported to the Bertie Martin County Regional Jail. While being held at the Bertie Martin County Regional Jail Williams was also served
with two arrest warrants originating in Beaufort County. These warrants charged Williams with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver MDA/MDMA (Ecstasy) and two counts of Drug Paraphernalia. These charges stemmed from members of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit conducting
controlled purchases of both cocaine and ecstasy from Williams. Williams was confined in the Bertie Martin Regional Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
