HEALTHY LIFESTYLES program instructor, Bill Bitar, withVidant-Pungo Hospital, continues to hold the Healthy Lifestyles classes at the Seniors Center on Friday mornings at 10:30a.m.
For the remainder of this year, the class will meet on the First and Third Friday of each month.
Chronic Disease Self Management
Classes begin on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012, at 12:30. The classes are free. The Chronic Disease Self Management Program is an evidence
based program designed to help you coordinate your chronic disorders,manage your own health, stay active and take charge!!! Just what ischronic disease???? What causes a chronic disease???? What are the symptoms of chronic disease???? How in the world can you be a “self manager of your chronic disease??? These are just a few of the things we will discuss and learn about You will enhance your health and the health of
your community as you share the gift of self management with others.
You don’t have to bring anything special – just yourself!
Come and enjoy – we have a lot to share with you!!!
Seniors helping Seniors…
This Senior Center has no membership dues and is open and available to all seniors for participation in any of the many scheduled activities or simply for rest and relaxation.
The Center is a 501-3(c) a non-profit organization, all donations are welcome and are tax deductible.
BROWN BAGGING ALLOWED IN THIS FACILITY –
JOIN US WITH YOUR BROWN BAG FOR LUNCH –
THE BAGGING USUALLY BEGINS AROUND 11:30 TO 11:45 A.M. LOTS OF GREAT CONVERSATIONS AND VISITING TAKES PLACE DURING THE BAGGING PARTY!!!
