Jesse James Ray Charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Larceny After Breaking and Entering

On April 30, 2012, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Breaking and Entering and Larceny that occurred at a business on Robersonville Road near Washington, NC. The victim reported tools and automobile parts were stolen. The Sheriff’s
Office began an investigation, collected evidence, and conducted interviews.
As a result of the investigation, Investigator Brad Shackelford applied for and obtained a warrant charging Jesse James Ray, age 27, with Felony Breaking and Entering and Larceny After Breaking and Entering. On June 20, 2012, Ray was arrested in Pitt County and held on a $15,000 secured bond. Some of the stolen items were recovered during the investigation.
