Jimmie Wayne Ball Charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Larceny after Breaking and Entering

 On September 4, 2012 at approximately 6:00 pm, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Breaking and Entering and Larceny on Taylor Road in Chocowinity, NC.  Deputies responded to the scene and learned that welding and fishing equipment was stolen from the residence and a shop on the victim’s property. Investigations began conducting interviews and learned a suspect sold some of the stolen
items at “Trade It” in Greenville, NC.  As a result of information and evidence gathered during the Investigation, Investigator Scott Williams applied for and obtained warrants charging Jimmie Wayne Ball Jr., age 32, of Antler Drive in Washington with two(2) counts of Felony Breaking and Entering and two(2) counts of Larceny after Breaking and Entering. Detectives with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office also obtained warrants charging Ball with two(2) counts of
Obtaining Property by False Pretense for the sale of stolen goods.On October 14, 2012, Ball was arrested by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Patrol
Division.  Ball was taken before Magistrate Donald Sadler and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $22,750.00 secured bond.
