Stephen Cruze Foster and Joshua Floyd Frazier Charged with Felony Larceny and Obtaining Property by False Pretenses

On March 19, 2012, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Larceny that occurred from a sailboat at Teach’s Point in Bath, NC.  The victim reported a bronze ship’s wheel, numerous bronze stanchions, and other hardware missing.  The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation, collected evidence, and conducted interviews. During the investigation, the ship’s wheel was recovered by the victim at Poor Boy’s Iron and Metal in Belhaven.
As a result of the investigation, Investigator Wesley Waters applied for and obtained warrants charging Stephen Cruze Foster, age 24, of Loop Road in Belhaven and Joshua Floyd Frazier, age 20, of Wilson Lane in Winterville with one(1) count each of  Felony Larceny and one(1) count each of Obtaining Property By False Pretenses. 
On August 21, 2012, Joshua Frazier was arrested by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office and held in the Pitt County Detention Center on a $5,000 secured bond set by a Pitt County Magistrate.  On September 13, 2012, Stephen Foster was arrested by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $6,000 secured bond set by Magistrate Donald Sadler.
